Professional opinion: I am shocked to see the data showing April was better than March. We had 49 closed in April and only 28 in March. We had the lockdown in full effect for most of Texoma and we stayed busy in real estate. This is great news for home owners as values seem to continue to rise as the avg sold price per square foot was $102/ft and 112/ft (newer than 1980). The houses were also selling faster as the average days on market was 31 in April.
With more houses being sold in April than in March we can only assume that May will continue to increase as well. The best part of this news is that SELLERS GOT 98% of their list price in April 2020! This is amazing and shows our area is still in a sellers market. We will continue to provide all of our readers and customers with the best , fastest news available.
